Samrat Dutta is an eminent solo Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer, mentor, and researcher based in Kolkata. His artistry is defined by a rigorous adherence to tradition seamlessly blended with a modern investigative spirit.
Artistic Lineage : A disciple of the legendary Padmabhushan Prof. C.V. Chandrasekhar, Samrat initiated his journey under the guidance of Guru Smt. Thankamani Kutty. His quest for depth in the classical arts led him to train under several other distinguished gurus, including specialized training in Marga Nritta under Guru Kalamandalam Piyal Bhattacharya.
